I have fought against oppression, and for freedom, across half of the universe.
I have fought in: Providence Great Wildlands Querious Period Basis Paragon Soul Stain Catch Feythabolis Tenerifis Omist Immensia Deteroid Insmother Cache Scalding Pass Metropolis Geminate Tash Murkon Devoid Derelik Kor Azor Khanid and of course the pit of despair....Domain
Not all battles have been as storied as some of the great battles that helped form the backstory and culture of Eve itself. Not all have been glorious. Many 'allies' have simply been extortioners or the worst kind of enemy....the kind that says friend, and then serves you up to your enemies and fails to come to your aid. We've been penetrated from the inside, disbanded, forced to seek asylum from nearby friendlies, reformed a new alliance government, and then horribly defeated in spite of it all.
While I would gladly trade those memories for a fist full of titans with which to go back in time...that is not possible.
Instead I can only be thankful that the people I fly with today are worthy of my trust. Many of the troublemakers, the bad attitudes, the 15 year olds that should be smacked around more, those not willing to stick out a hard fight...or even a losing fight...have all left. They've gone on to larger alliances, or back to highsec, or a life of gatecamping griefers. What I have left are pilots that I trust. Pilots that I know aren't leaving any time soon. Pilots I know will do hard things, and suicide their craft if called upon.
Oppression of our people is still legal in parts of this galaxy. We are currently searching for a few good pilots to train up, perhaps even come back to the fold, and restore right within the universe. We have many proud vets that may be welcomed back to the fold after long sabbaticals. We know there are many pilots looking for something a bit more meaningful and less low class than gate camping, highsec war decs, and station games.
There is more. The Ushra'Khan stands for more. The Ushra'Khan IS more.

Every day thousands of slaves are abused and tortured. The Ushra'Khan heart bleeds for them. The fall of the free UNITY station, and delivery into hostile hands, is but one small papercut amongst many.
When the Ushra'Khan have restablished their numbers, I have no doubt that UNITY station will be one of their objectives. While more people are abused in other places, 9UY does hold a certain place of renoun. It is a symbol. It probably won't be our highest priority, as our forces might be better used other places...but it always in our hearts. |

I threw away a couple ships this weekend.
One was an ill advised attack against an Amarr shuttle moving whoreslaves for the royal court...my interceptor didn't quite stand up to the gate guns in lowsec.
One was a moving my bait/anti-frig tempest between systems...and I came up against something a bit more substantial than a small gang. Oh well.
One was a glorious battle, significantly outgunned, trying to kill a Bhaalgorn in an incursion fleet. The Bhaalgorn had several other amarr/pirate faction battleships, logi, and regular armageddons. I tackled the unjust slaver with my rupture...but just couldn't hold on with all the firepower raining down. However...exactly 1 hour later...we had reshipped into slightly larger ships. The battle was still definitely 1 sided as far as numbers, ship size, etc. By no means was it a fair pairing. Yet, in glorious underdog fashion...we chose to attack the over confident slaver scum. We lost several ships, but we also made great rage tears in local. I personally turned our enemy's weapons against them, and flew an Armageddon into battle...and survived.
It was glorious. And we freed the slaves! Copy/Paste the following: http://www.ushrakhan.com/edk/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=153165
After our little raid, the next day they were back. This time they posted guards at all the entry point gates in the neighboring systems out of fear.
It is a glorious day to be training future greats in space combat and anti-slavery. |

Why just an hour ago I had a nice convo with a mighty U'k warrior of old. They too fought for freedom in all of Providence. This fine pilot will be coming back to the fold after a 1+ year coma spent in an Amarr hospital (aka POW/Slavery Camp). No doubt he has mined enough tritanium. He will soon be leading glorious fleets into combat to free slaves everywhere. |

We have recently been running a small campaign to drive out the Bricksquad greifers. They make a living gate camping and raising their children like cattle to be sold into slavery.
Little boys and girls...raised and given to slavery in empire space. We must fight for FREEDOM! |
